G3 CNC: Access to Computer


For almost any troubleshooting, it is necessary to access either the top chassis or the computer. The following pictures illustrate the steps necessary to access the computer.


Remove Cover

Disconnect all cables at rear of CNC. Un-plug power cord, then remove the blue cover.

Remove Front Panel

Remove four (or six on earliest units) screws holding front panel.

Stow Front Panel

It is not necessary to disconnect cables to front-panel. Stow panel in notches at rear of top chassis as shown.

Remove chassis screws

To gain access to the computer, disconnect all cables at rear of CNC, remove eight screws and set chassis aside.

G3 Lower Half

Remove top chassis with front panel and set it aside.
