GT-Jr Hatch Interlock Switch

ACCESS HATCH

If you buy a used OmniTurn GT-Jr, test the operation of the hatch interlock.
The motor-compartment access hatch on GT-Jr is interlocked: cycle will not start if hatch is open; if hatch is opened during cycle, cycle will stop.

To quickly verify interlock:

• Apply power to the machine and set servos on.
• Press Esc key.

If interlock is operative, on current CNC the red Motion Stop lamp will light with hatch open; on early CNC the Spindle Fault lamp (on spindle cabinet) will light with hatch open. These lamps should not be lit with hatch closed.
